Responsibilities under Public Works and Utilities include:
- Water (sampling / distribution system / water lines / hydrants / water mains / resevoirs / pump stations)
- Sewer (sewer mains / sewer lines / lift stations / sewer treatment plant)
- Storm (open ditches / storm mains / catch basins)
- Streets and Roads (street maintenance and sweeping / street lights / snow & ice removal / signage / sidewalks / Todd Road bridge / Christmas lighting)
- Garbage Collection (Commercial and Residential collection)
- City Building Maintenance (Municipal Office / Community Hall / Fire Hall / Public Works Office / Info Centre)
- City Equipment Fleet
